Inspections
The Building and Planning Department provides professional inspections for all trades and disciplines including structural, zoning and stormwater as well as compliance with local codes for manufactured housing.
HOW TO SCHEDULE AN INSPECTION: Inspections are typically completed between 10am-1pm

Inspections must be requested prior to 3pm to accommodate next day scheduling.

INSPECTION RESULTS:
Results can be viewed via the permitting portal CitizenServe
If your inspection does not meet the requirements, you will receive a detailed email informing you of the deficiencies. Items must be corrected prior to re-inspection. A $75 re-inspection fee may be applied to your permit.
CLOSING OUT A PERMIT:
If all Final inspections pass, the permit will be automatically closed. However, should there be a balance due on your account, the permit will remain open until payment is satisfied. Please log onto CitizenServe to view permit status and balances.
New Structures: All final documents must be received and reviewed by the building department prior to a Certificate of Occupancy being issued. For a list of required documents, please review New Structure Required Documents.
