Bradenton Beach’s Code Enforcement addresses a variety of property issues in order to maintain and better the quality of life for our residents and visitors to the Island. Violations of the City’s Code, Florida Building Code and International Property Maintenance Code affect the community’s health, safety, environment and property values.
Balancing the general public’s welfare and property rights of individual owners when it comes to enforcing the City’s Codes is an often difficult assignment. Our Code Enforcement Officers have refined skills and knowledge, and participate in continuing education in order to serve you better.
The overall goal of Code Enforcement is to achieve voluntary compliance. This is accomplished by providing equitable, expeditious and effective enforcement of City Codes. If a property owner fails to voluntarily comply, the Code Enforcement Officers can pursue further action by issuing Citations and noticing hearings before the Special Master.
To phone in any code enforcement complaints please call 941.778.1005 ext. 280 or use the Code Enforcement Complaint Form.
