Process

  1. Call two full business days (but not more than five) before digging to find out where buried facilities (electric, gas, telephone, cable, water) are located.
  2. Wait the required time for your site to be located and marked with color-coded paint, flags or stakes. Note: For your convenience, use our free positive response system to find out if your site has been located.
  3. Respect and protect the marks during your project. If marks are destroyed, request a new locate ticket.
  4. Dig safely, using extreme caution when digging within 24 inches on either side of the marks to avoid hitting the buried utility lines.
